After a protracted debate, the Federal Report reaching My school from Minna, Niger State capital, indicates that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has called off its five months strike.Lecturers are to resume their official duty with immediate effect.
After almost a full term pregnancy, to me this a christmas gift and a newyear welcome for we the Nigerian student from ASUU and Mr.president Thank God for that right? The sad bit is that so many students will not be returning to their schools.
Some have died..
Some are pregnant,
Some have been shipped off abroad and
some have joined trading business.
whatever it is,some will not be returning.
Say a quiet prayer for those students who fell during the strike..may their souls RIP.
