‘Nikita’ Series Finale Recap: Nikita Completes Her Ultimate Mission

The Dec. 27 series finale of Nikita was many things: explosive, intense and final; but mostly, it was just bittersweet and perfect. Beyond merely wrapping up four seasons of storyline and giving us a glimpse into the characters’ futures, it also brought Nikita’s (Maggie Q) entire gut-wrenching journey full-circle — from a sinner with a dark past to a savior with a bright future.

Nikita‘s final, and finest, hour was a return to what the show has always been about: one woman’s desperate attempt to reclaim her life and take out the people who turned it upside down. Everything that happened during the execution of that goal — falling in love with Michael (Shane West), befriending Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca), losing Ryan (Noah Bean), etc. — was all secondary. And yet it’s all of those things combined that re-shaped Nikita’s story, and most importantly, redirected her ending.

The Nikita we’ve seen in flashbacks, including the flashbacks used during the final hour, would have handled this finale very differently. She wouldn’t have “killed” her enemies; she would have killed them, giving over to her primal urges and releasing the animal within. But she’s not that person anymore, thanks entirely to the people she’s since surrounded herself with, the people we’ve grown to love over the past four seasons.

The Amanda Of It All

Confession: I so badly wanted to see Nikita rip Amanda’s (Melinda Clarke) heart out with her bare hands, but like always, the writers know better than me, and they conjured up an even more satisfying ending. Nikita’s final words to her, “Welcome back to the basement, Helen,” gave me chills. Hell, I just got chills typing them.

And I do love that Nikita took down Amanda with “deception,” the ultimate weapon for the series’ ultimate villain. I’m not sure if it was intended to be this way, but over the past four years, Amanda has become almost as much a part of the show as Nikita, herself. And in that regard, I’m glad she’ll live on forever.
Mikita ‘Finally’ Gets Its Happy Ending

“Now that we’re finally free, I get why we fought so hard,” Nikita said in her final voiceover. “The real gift isn’t freedom; it’s what we get to do with it.” Those words, layered over a newly-eloped ‘Mikita’ (!!!) spending their honeymoon rescuing child soldiers in Ecuador, were as beautiful as they were ironic. And that quick shot of Ryan watching over them, guiding them to their next mission? Be still my heart.

During my visit to Nikita‘s Toronto set, which occurred before any of the stars had been given the final script, the cast unanimously agreed that a full-on ‘Mikita’ wedding wasn’t in the cards. Shane scoffed at the idea of a wedding scene, while Maggie more adamantly insisted, “I’m not going to be in a wedding dress.” And I agree; a white wedding would have been far too traditional for this show’s anything-but-traditional couple. What we got instead, a simple promise of ‘Mikita’s future, was far more fulfilling.
Futures Worth Fighting For

We also got a glimpse into Alex’s future as an international ambassador, with Sam (Devon Sawa) as her bodyguard-slash-boyfriend. I won’t lie, I’m not in love with the idea of Alex and Sam being together romantically — hell, I’m also not in love with the idea of Owen being Sam in the first place — but I get why the powers-that-be chose to go that route. Perhaps, had we gotten a full 22-episode season, there would have been more time for Alex and Owen’s relationship to develop; in lieu of that, I’m OK with last week’s hookup and tonight’s hint of the couple’s future.

And then there’s Nerd (Aaron Stanford), who’s now as “legit” as he’s ever going to be, offering up a watered-down version of Shadownet to the masses as a form of “open-source anarchy.” Knowing that he and Sonya (Lyndie Greenwood) have a picture-perfect future together in London is merely the cherry on top of their adorable, nerdy existence.

God, I love those two.
Closing Thoughts

I’d now like to end by thanking everyone — the cast, the crew and The CW — for giving us 73 episodes of this incredible series. While its time on the air was short-lived and under-appreciated, I firmly believe it to be one of the best shows on television today. It’s certainly the best show The CW has ever produced, and all other series should look to its flawless structure as a blueprint.

It was quite sad and a pathetic end for Mr Victor Nsongbunyo, an indigene of Akwa Ibom state and Deputy Manager at the Nigeria Petroleum Development (NPDC) Company, Benin City. The deceased allegedly murdered by his wife Mrs Enebong Victor and her Pastor boyfriend, Prince Udoka Nkanchukwu who were paraded by the Edo state Police Commissioner, Funso Adebanjo last Tuesday.

Saturday Vanguard learnt that the deceased who was recently promoted to the position of Deputy Manager, was due to retire next year. It was learnt that the decease and his wife had been having issues with the paternity of their children after the deceased suspected the wife was having an extra marital affair with the Pastor.

The deceased was said to have visited home to complain to both his family and that of his wife after suspecting that the current pregnancy which is being carried by the wife was not from him. Consequently, the families resolved that a DNA would be conducted after giving birth to the child. Saturday Vanguard further learnt that it was this arrangement that infuriated the wife that led her into plotting to murder her husband with her lover Pastor.

Friday October 22, 2013, It was learnt that the Pastor whom Vanguard gathered has been a close family friend, called the deceased on telephone and told him he wanted to see him. The deceased was said to have drove to somewhere along Sapele road, to meet with the Pastor. On getting there, it was gathered that the Pastor entered the vehicle and stabbed the deceased twice. As if that was not enough, he drove the car to hidden destination along Sapele road and set both the car and the deceased car ablaze.

On Monday 25, the wife was said to have gone to the office to report that the husband was missing. But apparently after visiting the husband’s office, she went straight to the bank and withdrew N4milion from the husband’s account.

The wife of the deceased also went to the police to report the incident. However, staff of the NDDC was informed that people observed a burnt car and somebody inside it somewhere along Sapele Road, they quickly rushed down and found it was that of Mr Nsongbunyo. The shocked NPDC staff went back to the deceased wife at their home to inform her of the situation but found her sitting comfortably at home watching African Magic. However, detectives intensified search for the deceased new car which was given to him by the company following his promotion. The car, a Volkswagen Passat car was tracked to a compound at Ekenwan road Benin City.

Vanguard learnt that a lady was accosted by detectives in the compound and she confessed that the car was packed by a Pastor that lives in the compound. When the Pastor came out, detectives observed burns in his left hand and his face. The Pastor disclosed that one of his daughters in the church sowed a seed with the car. He subsequently took them to the residence of the deceased where it was discovered that it was the deceased wife.

The duo were arrested immediately and according to the state Police commissioner, have confessed to have committed the dastard act. According to Adebanjo, “what happened was that the Pastor called the deceased to come and meet him somewhere along Sapele Road, when the deceased got there the Pastor stabbed him twice and then burnt the car.

The woman gave the husband’s new car to the Pastor and we found the car with the Pastor. A 2013 model of Volkswagen car. It is a very sad and wicked act. After killing the man in his vehicle he set the car ablaze. The Pastor changed the plate number of the car and put a fake one after he murdered the man. It was when we saw the burnt in his hand that we knew that he was involved. Though he has confessed and after now we will take them to court. They both confessed that they are lovers but I believe that it was wicked on their part to have plotted the killing of the man.

Mrs Isonguyo who denied she was having extra marital affairs with the Pastor, narrated that “when I did not see my husband I ran to the Pastor because we have known for a very long time. I took my husband’s new car to him to sow a seed in the church so that my husband will be found. I told him to take it to the church but I don’t know that he went and changed the plate numbers. I had to ask him to pray harder because I love my husband and I don’t want anything to happen to him.

I did not kill my husband because I loved him. I brought the car and told him to take it to his church and sow a seed that I want God to answer my prayers so that my husband will come back. I told him to take it to the church because even if it is a house I would have taken it to sow a seed for my husband to come back. I gave it to him but what I did not know was that he went to change the plate number and other papers that have to do with the car.

I was lying down in the house at about 11pm that day when the police came and arrested me”. Asked if she is having extra marital affair with the Pastor, she asserted “ God forbid, I have not had any affair with the Pastor. The Pastor has been a close family friend and we always give him cloths to go and share in the orphanages. And even when I travelled with my husband we gave him our ATM card so that he can take care of our poultry and whatever that is needed to be done. He has been very honest to us so I don’t know what is happening”.

She further denied having quarrel with the late husband, asserting that “Until I came to this place nobody told me that my husband is dead. I pray that God should intervene because I have never committed any crime before in my life. I want God to intervene in this matter. I have three boys for my husband, 17, 16 and 15 years”.

In his confession, Pastor Ukachukwu whom Vanguard learnt has not been to their church, Land of Evidence Church along Airport Road Benin City, said he kicked against bringing the car to him by the deceased wife but decided to accept it when she insisted that she wanted to sow a seed. According to him “I have been a family Pastor and sometimes I pick their children from school.

She called me and said that she wanted to give me a car to sow a seed in my church. When she even brought the car I asked her why she should bring the car in the middle of this crisis but she said her husband is worth more than any material thing that she can make any sacrifice for her husband. I changed the plate number because any gift for Pastors you have to change it in order to be able to drive the car”. CP Adebanjo said the duo would be charged to court for murder.

Oshiomole Escapes Death In Auto Crash

The convoy of the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, was today (Saturday) involved in an accident at Ewu village, Auchi-Benin Road in Edo State on his way back to Benin City from his Iyamho Village.

According to reports, a vehicle carrying tomatoes and plantain had while overtaking a trailer lost control and ran into the governor’s BMW car which crashed into a ditch.

Three vehicles in the Governor’s convoy were in front of the Governor’s Flag Car and had passed the vehicle carrying tomatoes before the vehicle had direct impact with the Governor’s car, which had the Governor, his Aide-De-Camp [ADC] and his Driver as occupants. The Governor’s Car was badly affected but both occupants of the vehicle and the Governor’s car sustained no injuries.

Oshiomole, his ADC and other occupants of the vehicle carrying tomatoes are all in good condition.

According to a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Media&Public Affairs, “the incident has been reported to the Divisional Police Station at Ewu for further investigation.

“This is to assure all good people of Edo State that there is no cause for alarm. Their loving Comrade Governor is fine, hale and hearty as well as other occupants of the other affected vehicle. The Comrade Governor is wishing everyone a prosperous new year ahead”.

Okay, so Rihanna didn’t personally keep Karrueche from entering Pink Elephant, but still — the writing is all over the wall! Pink Elephant’s rep says that it was the club that sought to keep the dance floor drama-free, and they did so by getting rid of Karrueche.

“She wasn’t let in as a courtesy to Rihanna,” the rep says. “To keep the peace, they decided it was in everybody’s best interest if they weren’t on the dance floor at the same time.”

This seems like a wise choice, considering what happens when other clubs allow rivals to drink and dance together. Chris Brown and Drake, anyone?

Is Rihanna Still Feeling Bitter Toward Karrueche Tran?

Chris has admitted in the past that at one point he loved both Karrueche and Rihanna at the same time. So even though his relationship with Karrueche is now stronger than ever — the two spent the holidays together at his rehab center — the bond between Chris and Rihanna may never disappear, despite “the situation.” (His words.)

Doe B: Rapper Shot & Killed At 22 Years Old

So sad. The up-and-coming rapper from Montgomery, Ala. was killed early in the morning on Dec. 28, dying from a reported gunshot wound. He was only 22 years old.

A violent shooting has tragically taken another young rapper. Doe B (real name Glenn Thomas), who was part of T.I.‘s hip-hop collective Hustle Gang, was unfortunately shot and killed after performing early in the morning on Dec. 28 in his hometown of Montgomery, Ala. He was just 22 years old.

The fatal shooting reportedly occurred at Centennial Hill Bar and Grill, according to Rap-Up. Another woman, 21-year-old Kim Johnson, was also killed in the shooting, All Hip Hop reports.

The 22-year-old rapper joined T.I.’s Hustle Gang and signed to Interscope Records in the summer of 2013. His career turned around for him in 2010 when he was shot in the right eye, and found a new dedication to his music in recovery. It’s just so sad to think that this burgeoning rapper had so much to look forward to in 2014, and now none of those dreams will be realized.

Paul Walker Accused Of Faking His Own Death By Insensitive Website! Deplorable Rumor Upsets His Many Fans

This is just so rude!

We're not entirely sure we understand why someone would fake their death and cause their family and even the world all that grief! We understand it LESS when someone accuses a person who was taken so soon of doing such a deplorable thing!

Deceased Paul Walker has been accused of faking his own death with Roger Rodas in the fiery accident that occurred on November 30th.

The article on Nosinfo.com claims the Fast & Furious actor's family and friends are all pulling a fast one the world, claiming:

They are all lying. Paul Walker didn't die. Nor did Roger Rodas. They are both alive and well, and their relatives well know it.

It has already been established that the relatives of Paul Walker are involved in a cover-up, that is the cover-up of faking the actor’s death. It has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, here, that the accident is a fabrication and that there wasn’t any real car crash. Rather, what is seen is imagery of a man-made car fire and a car pre-placed in position to be incinerated: without either Walker or Rodas inside.

WTF?! Boo! All kinds of BOOOOO!

This is just a terrible accusation to make. We don't know what's worse, shopping around photos of the deceased actor or trying to prove his death to be illegitimate?

And what would Paul or Roger gain from faking their death anyway?

The website also tries to disprove the smoke from the fire as a "man-made car fire" and they claim Paul's girlfriend Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell had a hand in his "fake death."

Ugh. This would seriously be the equivalent of people believing that the death of all celebrities are conspired!

Just let the men rest in peace and give their loved ones time to grieve.

Comedienne Princess Dammy & Hubby Split After 7 Months of Marriage

One of Nigeria’s leading comedians Princess Dammy and her Yoruba movie producer/director beauAdeshola Jeremiah have separated.

The couple tied the knot on Wednesday 8th May 2013 at the Balmoral Hall, Oregun, Lagos.

Princess Dammy confirmed to The Net NG‘s correspondent that they have indeed gone their separate ways; citing “irreconcilable differences”.

“Yes my marriage has ended due to irreconcilable differences”. she says.

She further explains; “We have been having issues since the wedding but we still remained together hoping that we would be able to work it out. But apparently, we couldn’t work it out, hence the reason for our separation.

“We actually ended it several months ago, but we didn’t want to make it public. I’m sure God knows best“.

The NET NG goes on to report that they started having issues two weeks after their nuptials.

Girl loves attention, and will do anything to get it. If only she can devote this amount of passion to bettering her craft. #poko

What Davido lacks in talent, he makes up with a HUGE ego. This noise maker is a product of a massive PR machine, oiled by (as we hear) family money. In a country where you can become a “celeb” with half baked talent, Davido certainly reigns supreme. #Davido

If Muna would get off fighting with anyone who describes her lack of talent on Twitter, maybe, just maybe she would have one hit song. This former MGBN who describes herself as a rapper (rolls eyes) is certainly a very pretty girl, but it appears that is all there is to her. Her personal style also hasn’t improved. Winning MGBN is a great launch pad, so I suggest that she figures out what it is that she is good at, because rapping (rolls eyes again) is definitely not one of them.

We woke up one morning and Toyin lawani was everywhere. This stylist (her words not mine) and chairperson of the Bleachers INC is clearly the joke of the year. She’s currently pregnant, so I will try to be nice (lol). She should however go easy on the bleaching, and we are so tired of seeing her knock offs on Instagram. Someone told me that she is a fashion designer also (scoffs). Ms lawani is not about to stop.

I cringe whenever someone refers to Cossy as a Nollywood actress. So showing off humoungous b**bs and a flabby body in the most rachet way possible qualifies her as an actress? Shame!! Cossy has no talent whatsoever, I would have suggested she moved to Las Vegas to be in a burlesque show, but her flabby body won’t quite cut it. So the big question remains “what is it that Cossy does”?

This “I am getting old, but I must be talked about” woman is hilarious joke. She is described as a producer/director of soft P0*n movies, which she often features in. She is often on social media, sharing her opinion on everything. Somebody described her as Nigeria’s Anna Nicole Smith and I nearly fell off the chair laughing. Dear Afrocandy, you are getting older, just accept it! Being ratchet won’t reverse the clock.

I certainly don’t know how to classify this woman. She is beautiful and sexy that i know of,I am not quite sure what she does, besides showing off her “vijayjay” on Instagram and there seems to be no stopping her. Not even Instagram themselves who suspended her account, can stop her as she is back and stronger! Lol! We have no words!!

I am not big on Nollywood, but I hear that Uche Jumbo’s acting has improved. I also hear that she has become a film maker, which is good too. However she is on this list because of her style or lack of it. Her marriage to an American eye candy hasn’t improved her horror style. Her horror highlight was at the AMVCA nominees party where I could have sworn that she was attacked by a pack of wolves just before she got in the red carpet. Girlfriend needs a stylist like yesterday. Well let’s hope they make it stop in the new year

Meanwhile two of Nigerian’s talented music video directors who directed Davido’s skelewu video, Mr Moe Musa and Sesan Ogunro lost their fathers some days ago.

Sesan’s dad, Sesan Ogunro Snr was shot point blank by armed robbers as he returned from his church’s Christmas Carol with his family – kids and grand kids. He was rushed to the hospital, only to die later on.

Moe Musa’s dad died after a horrific car accident in Lagos.

Prophecies For 2014: “Patience Jonathan May Die” – Primate Ayodele

Prophet Babatunde Ayodele, Founder/Spiritual Head of Inri Evangelical Church, Lagos, has over the years warned the country of looming dangers, mostly unheeded. Warnings came before the airplane mishap that involved Sosoliso and Bellview Airlines in 2005, but were unheeded. The cleric has again spoken of things to come in the new year as 2013 winds down, emphasising the need for fervent prayers to avert evil, especially in the first family, as he says President Jonathan has to be prayerful so that he would not lose his wife.

“Concerning the year 2014, I will advise every Nigerian to take time and be prayerful for the country and for themselves from the 1st to 3rd of January, 2014. This is for God to prevent imminent dangers ahead of the nation and economy. Let us take it from here. I don’t see anything happening in the Nigerian economy. I see debts everywhere- our crude oil, foreign reserve, and all.

“States will be in debt, the Federal Government will be in debt and Nigeria will be planning to go borrow money. So, the government has to be very careful not to be grinded by these debts. Prices of food will increase drastically and flour will be scarce and very expensive. Corruption too will be more prevalent because this government lacks the power to fight it. Fighting oil theft will also pose a major challenge and Nigeria will beg America to support her in the fight. The price of petroleum will increase as well.

“There will be too much of troubles concerning kerosene. Sea pirates will dominate the waterways and the African Union, AU, will form a common security to monitor our seaways. Various organisations such as the Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN, and The National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, will be embarking on industrial action almost at the same time. Again, power supply will be unstable until 2015, 2016. I also see ocean surge in Lagos. Sponsors of Boko Haram will be exposed as well. Very importantly, let us be very watchful so we don’t have any border crisis.

“Like I’ve always said, President Goodluck Jonathan’s second term is dicey. He will start some political abracadabra in order to gain his second term which will be characterised by so much of negotiations. He will have to cajole and beg a lot of people; he will also beg Obasanjo. What Nigerians see now is only a tip of the iceberg of the clash that will come between Obasanjo and Jonathan.

“In the process of Jonathan’s negotiations, the offices of the Vice President, the Chief of Staff and the Secretary to the Federal Government will be affected. When he eventually succeeds through negotiation, some of these governors who moved to the All Progressive Congress, APC, will return back to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Tukur will be removed.

“At the same time, I want to tell you that when Jonathan eventually gets his second term, there will be crisis. Also, another person will be shopped by the PDP to take over from Jonathan, but like I said, through negotiation and begging, he will get the second term. Jonathan might be the last president of PDP to rule this country, anyway. He also has to be prayerful and watchful so he doesn’t lose his wife, the First Lady of the country. I also see shake-up in the cabinet and ministers being removed and replaced. The Ministers of Petroleum and Aviation will also be seriously probed. Some people might not like theses prophecies, but that is not my problem because I am speaking as God has directed me,” Ayodele said.

Speaking further, he stated; “An unknown man will rule Lagos State. Nationally, APC has accommodated traitors and betrayals. It is not yet time for the party to rule this country. However, if they really want to rule, they have to struggle and pray very well to get the right candidate. They must be watchful so that their party is not used for negotiation.

“Nigeria will try their best in the World Cup but I do not see them in the semi-final or final. Let us be very watchful in the aviation sector so that pilots will not go on strike. Also, there will be air turbulence in some of our airports such as in Lagos and Abuja. We also must be watchful so that there won’t be any air crash. I however see reforms in the aviation sector.Let us pray very well so that this growing climatic condition will also not cause mourning for this country,” Ayodele said.

37 year old Sikiratu Sindodo had her when she was 21.

How Motherhood Has Changed Beyoncé, What Her Dancers Use to Get Their Makeup to Stay, and Blue Ivy’s Sweet Dance Moves (She Twerks!): Secrets Learned Backstage at Beyoncé’s Mrs. Carter Concert

In honor of her newest fragrance, Rise, Beyoncé allowed a group of writers backstage at the Mrs. Carter concert in Brooklyn last week to get the details on how all that magic happens on stage. I was one of those writers. Here are the most interesting, useful, hilarious, and revealing things I learned.

First, of her new scent (a mix of orchid, bergamot, golden apricot, freesia, cashmere musk and vetiver) Beyoncé has said, “The spirit of Rise encourages women to be all that we are,” which sounds potentially like just something someone might say in passing and not really mean. But I’m telling you, judging by the feeling backstage, this woman means it. You could tell the entire crew spoke about her, they genuinely love and respect her. And as for encouraging people to reach their potential, turns out she can be a pretty tough boss when it comes to giving “notes” (meaning things she liked and didn’t like during a night’s performance).

* The crew didn’t know that Beyonce was dropping a surprise album. They knew she was working on something, but they found out on Twitter just like everyone else that she snuck her new songs on iTunes.
* Blue Ivy twerks! Well, something like it at least. The dancers told us she loves to dance and one of her signature moves is to stick her booty out and wave it around in a twerk-esque fashion.

* Her backup singers (who have all been traveling with her for years) say motherhood has made the singer even more maternal. One told us, “She’s always been caring, but now it’s like Heeeey…how’s [your son] JJ?”

* The dancers and the Mamas (her backup singers) all do their own hair and makeup every night. And what’s more shocking: Beyoncé doesn’t give them any guidelines–they’re just supposed to look awesome, and they’re free to experiment. She’ll let them know via “notes” if a new hairstyle or makeup color was something she’d like to see again.

* On a normal night, the Mamas take an hour-and-a-half to get ready, but in a time crunch, they can be stage-ready in 30 minutes.
* Beyoncé is a such a perfectionist, she watches a video of the show almost every night, according to her dancers.

* The dancers have seven costume changes throughout the show.
* The crew likes to play little pranks to make Beyonce laugh. For instance, on the last tour, a dancer shoved a towel down the back of her pants to make her booty extra “Bootylicious” to dance to the song.

* To get their makeup to stay on stage, the dancers use setting sprays from Mac and NYX Cosmetics.

* The costume tailors have to repair the clothes every night. All that dancing is hard on the fabrics, and although they switch out the hidden zippers and any delicate hooks to help them stand up to wear and tear (“It comes as couture and we have to make it a costume”), they still get ripped up–and they don’t keep backups!
* Sometimes Beyoncé likes to mix things up and ad lib dance moves. Her dancers have just learned to roll with the punches. “We just have to stay on our toes–we just make sure we’re always watching her and each other,” one of them revealed.

* The dancers were wrapping toys for a toy drive and eating fried chicken–yes, fried chicken–a couple of hours before showtime. After seeing the show I can testify that they work so hard, they deserve some fried chicken

Kim K shows off Xmas gift from Kanye, a hand-painted Hermes bag

Yesterday Kim Kardashian showed off the Christmas gift she got from Kanye West on her instagram page. It's a tan Hermes Birkin leather handbag (pictured above).. You would think it's not a big deal because Kim has lots of Hermes bags which retails for around $10,000 to $30,000, but...this bag is different. After buying the bag, Kanye commissioned the legendary American contemporary visual artist George Condo to hand-paint a nude on the front of the bag. The design features several nude female figures and a bare-chested monster.

Now George Condo's paintings are sold for hundreds of thousand of dollars...one even recently sold for $1.3 million. Now ladies and gentlemen, you may be looking at one of the most expensive bags ever made! See more photos after the cut...

Pres Jonathan Throws Another Punch At Ex Pres OBJ

After replying Ex president Obasanjo letter, President GEJ has been cheered by the general public because he replied in a very intelligent and respectful manner while making known the facts that he inherited all Nigeria's problem from past administration and didn't create any for Nigerians.

During a Christmas Day service held at the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Life Camp, Gwarinpa, Abuja on Christmas Day, President Jonathan said Nigeria does not belong to any politician or group politicians.
“We politicians that think we own this country and are already thinking about next election; we are doing what we ought not to do; making statement we ought not to make and writing letters we are supposed not to write.

“This country belongs to our statesmen, traditional rulers, religious leaders, our men, our women, our youths. Nigeria does not belong to any politician or group of politicians. So, we will continue to urge the clergymen to pray for this country.” Jonathan said
