Yvonne Nelson – ‘I’m very paranoid. I don’t believe in what any man says’.

Ghanaian Actress, Yvonne Nelson has opened up about her life in an interview with Jessica Opare Saforo on the Traffic Avenue. The pretty Ghanaian actress took Jessica on a joy ride when she answered questions related to her career, love life and the controversies.

Asked if she’s currently dating and responded in a way you wouldn’t expect, saying “I’m very paranoid. I don’t believe in what any man says. I’m no longer dating but I still believe in love.”

Yvonne Nelson wasn’t at the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and she used the opportunity to dispel assertions that her absence was because of Iyanya, her ex-boyfriend who was billed to perform.

“I wasn’t at the VGMAs because I was involved in an accident on my way there. I was to present an award,” she said.

Reacting to rumors that she has been bleaching, she explained that the use of filters on Instagram among other things make her look a bit fairer and that she has not bleached. She explained that some people would just not accept her explanation, but remain resolute about the bleaching rumors.

Among other things, she revealed how with time she has managed to build herself up in the movie industry. She’s currently working on her latest self-produced movie which features the best in the Ghanaian movie industry.

Tiwa Savage: The Line Between Sexy & Slutty

Tiwa Savage performing at Star Trek, Ekwulobia, May 2014.

Tiwa Savage did not wait for the ink to dry on her marriage certificate before crossing the line between sexy and slutty.

Even with the reportedly racy ‘Wanted’ video by the new Mrs Balogun yet to make a public debut, the young woman on May 4 left little to the imagination with a risque one-on-one with a male fan on stage during the Ekwulobia, Anambra leg of this year’s Star Music Trek.

She had told critics a few days before that “I’m off to the beach to show more of my bikini body. Because I’m married I should turn into a nun, abi? Maybe if you work on your body your husband will not be drooling over me.”

Fortunately, some people still buy Tiwa’s CDs because of her music. And only the callous and (probably) envious will argue when she said "I have worked my butt off to follow my dreams."

Please pray that her voice lasts longer than the butt and bikini body.

Hopefully, the music will endure when everything else starts drooping.

"The exact figure of the dead bodies recovered as of now is 118 and more bodies may be in the debris of buildings which collapsed due to the intensity of the blasts.” Mohammed Abdulsalam told AFP. He also revealed that 56 people were injured in the twin blasts.

Plateau state Police commissioner Chris Olakpe had earlier told reporters that only 46 people were killed and 45 others were injured. He later said "We are saying 46. That’s the number we have in the morgues. But we are not ruling out more bodies.”

Well, eye-witnesses insists there are way more bodies. At least 200. Many have not been recovered.
